Monetization in Games ft. John Romero & Co.
A New Type of Games Seminar Focused on Learning!
Imagine a day, in which game developers and students are learning together from experts about a very difficult topic. The seminar will focus on monetization as it is one of the most challenging topics in the video games industry. The focus of the day will be to embrace the experiences of the past, excel in current game development activities and prepare for the future (check the Seminar Schedule below).
We are inviting four world-class speakers: John Romero, Maarten Noyons, Michail Katkoff and Oscar Clark to share their experiences on successful monetization in games. We will also utilize the latest research and facilitation methods that we normally use at the Game Executive program, to create an inspirational and truly educational seminar. Students will meet game developers and work with them, for a day, on real-case challenges about monetization. This is a great way to understand how to work in a games company, and it is also an opportunity for networking and meeting people who are passionate about making games (current and future talent).
The event is co-organized by Aalto University Developing Entrepreneurship and IGDA Finland.
